Advocacy

Providing policy and strategic recommendations to governments and relevant stakeholders to prevent, control, and eliminate NOMA, while also engaging in advocacy efforts to raise awareness among decision-making entities. And raise awareness of the community and health professionals through hosting educational conferences & other awareness raising campaigns on the prevention and early warning of Noma.

Research

The NIE envisions conducting scientific researches with the goal of exploring the epidemiology and psychosocial burden of noma, identifying the specific disease-causing organisms, and developing guidelines for physical examination and laboratory testing. Ultimately, the NIE’s researches aim to enable the provision of evidence-based, effective medical, surgical, physical, and psychological interventions that improve the quality of life for noma patients. Additionally, we aim to support researchers dedicated to advancing knowledge in this regard.

Training

Ensure that there are enough and qualified professionals who can treat noma disease.

Providing professional consultation to NOMA patients to ensure they receive appropriate care and treatment. Advocating for improved access to healthcare services for communities vulnerable to NOMA and striving to establish a comprehensive medical center dedicated to the treatment of NOMA patients.
